These Energy Saving Trust-style figures are a reference point, not a personalised result. Your sunlight, orientation and daytime use decide whether your estimate should be higher, lower or suppressed.
Sunlight comes first
Mostly shaded positions are unlikely to work well. The Solar Check suppresses personalised economics when sunlight or orientation is uncertain.
Orientation changes the range
South, south-east and south-west positions use the strongest reference band. East and west positions remain plausible, but the expected annual generation range is lower.
Daytime use affects savings
The more electricity you use during daylight hours, the more generated power you may use directly. Mainly evening use normally weakens the savings case.
Why payback is not shown yet
The catalogue records checked retail prices, but payback still depends on changing prices, stock and property-specific generation. We keep it out of the launch estimate rather than imply a guaranteed return.
