This policy explains what data FindYourIdealSolarPanels collects, how it is used, and how the Solar Check handles answers.

1. Who we are

FindYourIdealSolarPanels is a free online plug-in solar suitability tool for Great Britain homes. Contact: hello@findyouridealsolarpanel.com.

2. Data we collect

Solar Check answers: Stored temporarily in your browser while you use the tool. They are not submitted to a server as a completed questionnaire record.
Analytics: We use GA4 for aggregate usage and funnel patterns after consent.
Cookies: Analytics cookies may be set by Google Analytics.

3. Analytics payloads

Funnel events are deliberately limited. We may record broad fit band, broad orientation class and recommendation state, but not a complete copy of every Solar Check answer.

4. Affiliate links

Future retailer links may be affiliate links. Retailers may apply their own cookies and privacy practices after you leave this site.

5. Cookies and consent

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how this site is used in aggregate. Analytics cookies are only set after you give consent via the banner shown on your first visit.

When you click Accept, analytics data collection is enabled for your browser. When you click Decline, no analytics cookies are set and no tracking data is sent to Google.
